If you are looking to do something new, how about trying to build a personal drone?
Designing a drone might be slightly time consuming and takes practice but it is worth all the pain.
After all you built it yourself and it is your own personal creation. You might need a few things to
build a drone. We have mentioned them below.

Start with cutting the ply in four equal parts as shown in the above picture. Place these on a
wooden base.
You can use wood, aluminium or plastic for stand. Place the square piece of ply in the center. Use
pieces of wood in the bottom.
Make accurate marks on the ply to fix the motor. The side of the wire should be facing the inside
rotor position as shown in figure
We will use CopterControl CC3D EVO from OpenPilot to fly the drone. It will cost you around Rs
1400. Make sure you read the user manual carefully before installing the control system
CC3D controller will be installed through a computer. Once all the hardware setting is done, only
then you can connect with the ground station. Go through all the steps mentioned in the kit for
correct installation.
Use screw to attach the fan blades on the motor. Make sure the screw size is small otherwise it gets
difficult for the drone to fly.
Attach the camera and put it in video mode. Now use the radio controller to fly your drone.
